Development Spending on the Rise
May 9th, 2009
Seems the economy is on the move, ever so slightly with development spending on the move in spite of the recession. many of the development projects that were put on hold due to the collapse of the housing market are again getting built but on a more cautious note. Life has become harder yet people are getting on with their lives and developers are doing the same seeing that they would be losing more should they choose to abandon them.
There have been heart-breaking developments like collapsing industries like the construction business that has let go of millions of jobs due to less demand for their skills. Elsewhere, jobs are still being shed to lessen overhead costs as companies trim down staff. Building developments are continuing even with scarce funding with most banks refusing to release cash in the amounts they used to when these projects began themselves victims of the recession and the widespread economic turmoil.
